16 foot Bliss Mobil – Scania overland truck
We have delivered this beautiful overland truck just before the end of 2020. The 16 foot Bliss Mobil with the Scania R450 4×4 is a first time combination and première at Bliss Mobil. We can no other than conclude it has become a perfect match and this overland truck is made for a comfortable yet capable expeditions.
Bliss Mobil and Scania
As this was the first time that Bliss Mobil and Scania cooperated, the in-house designed, torsion-free subframe has been approved by the Scania headquarters in Sweden. This makes Scania the next company, after MAN Truck & Busses and Mercedes-Benz that officially approved one of the Bliss Mobil subframes. Another good example of Bliss Mobil’s vehicle independence.
The 16 foot interior combines a large seating area with a fixed, 1.600 x 2.000mm bed and a spacious kitchen. The U-shaped couch comfortably seats four persons and can be changed to a full-size bed when the table is lowered and the backrests are folded down.
Standardisation
The kitchen area is standard full functional equipped. The refrigerator, deep freezer and combi-oven also belong to the standard equipment. This particular Bliss Mobil is outfitted with the latest generation Outdoor Kitchen for those sunny days where you fully want to enjoy outdoor living.
As the 16 foot is equipped with a large bed, the garage underneath it provides ample space for outdoor equipment, foldable bicycles, tools and other equipment. The optional washing machine has been placed underneath the bed and is easily accessible.
Accessories
The shower and lavatory are separated and both offer privacy thanks to the matt-glass doors. The shower door doubles in function as a room divider, should one wish to sleep whilst the other wants to watch some television in the seating area. This shower is equipped with the optional folding sink. For those who want to enjoy a shower in nature, we equip all our units with an exterior shower system, including a thermostat that allows you to shower with both hot and cold water.

Our customer made the choice for the independent box with twist lock solution, as the truck will be used for multiple purposes.
