A mobile office for the whole crew!
This expedition truck will be deployed as a mobile office for medical and research visits, both to their own facilities spread out in Europe as well as conferences.
Combining business with pleasure
This 18 foot expedition unit is placed on the latest MAN TGM generation; the TG3. The 18 tons chassis has a 4×4 axle configuration and a 320hp strong engine. This capable yet comfortable offroader will have no problem carrying the 18 foot Bliss Mobil, six people, their luggage and (medical) equipment through challenging terrain.
To accommodate the large Bliss Mobil, the wheelbase of the vehicle has been extended from 4.500mm to 5.100mm.
A unique work environment
The interior has been enhanced with a monitor in the bedroom, a built-in vacuum cleaner and a washing machine in order to provide a professional and clean work environment. In the spacious bathroom a folding sink and towel heaterhave been installed. Additional sleeping spots are realised by installing a High Bed module over the seating area, effectively providing the team with a 4-person bunk bed. Should the team further expand, additional sleeping spots can be realised by placing a tent on top of the cab, or installing a bunk bed inside the truck cab.
To provide enough meals for the six headed crew, both an outdoor kitchen and an additional steam oven found their way to this very complete expedition unit. To make sure that the team is operational as long as needs be, a watermaker has been installed to guarantee a continuous supply of drinkable water.
Storage and transportation
To make sure each and every crewmember has enough storage space, the optional storage box system has been installed in the garage. Secondary transport has been taken care of by placing six, folding electric bicycles in the large storage boxes on the rear. The boxes are placed on an aluminium frame that can be electronically operated.
The show must go on
A batwing awning has been installed between the two storage boxes on the rear carrier. The awning is fitted with LED strips so research can be carried out from dusk till dawn. Furthermore a large 4G antenna has been installed on the roof rack, ensuring a stable Internet connection.
