Delivery of 18 foot Long Bed with Quad Garage

This 18 foot Bliss Mobil Long Bed Quad Garage is placed on a Mercedes-Benz Axor 1829 4×4 that has been completely renovated! The truck is an ex-military chassis that has received numerous updates like a full Ti.Systems, Koni suspension upgrade, a dual fuel tank setup with protection plates underneath and storage boxes on the truck chassis. The air filter system has been relocated to the roof rack and the freshly painted truck sits on new rims and tires.
All in one
The 18 foot layout with a Quad Garage Bliss Mobil features a king size bed that can be slept lengthwise above it. In contrast to our larger size units, the 18 footer can be placed on a 4×4 chassis instead of a 6×6 and still be very capable for off-road conditions. With this combination, one can use a 4×4 truck chassis, store secondary transport (quad or low motorcycle) in the internal garage and bring two spare wheels with you. An impressive and practical package!
Inside the 18 foot unit
With a total unit length of 5.470mm, the rear side is taken by the spacious quad bike garage with platform system. The interior is top-notch, very complete and provides everything you need. The signature, U-shaped seating area contains the fresh water tank, dual battery set-up and deep freezer.
The kitchen is fitted by default with a combi-microwave, overhead cabinets and a dual induction hob. Our customer opted for the Kitchen Set to make his kitchen complete. The standard cabinet opposite the kitchen has been fitted with the optional drawers and the interior has been further enriched with a washing machine, additional cabinets in the sleeping area and speakers in the bedroom.
Not just pretty to look at
This Mercedes-Benz Axor 1829 is an incredibly capable and versatile machine. It is a Euro 4 specified truck which means it can very well handle bad diesel. This vehicle shares a lot of chassis components with the Mercedes-Benz Zetros so do not be fooled by its pretty paint job and orange rims.
The exterior of this expedition truck has been upgraded with a roof rack on which an improved 4G antenna is placed as well as LED high beams. The large, military roof hatch is fully functional as it moves over the roof rack where it offers a great view- and photo spot. Recessed in the walls of the Bliss Mobil units you will notice the Birdview camera system that provides the driver with a top-down view of this expedition vehicle.
Additional exterior lights, storage boxes behind the rear axles and above the spare wheels complete the look of this desert-coloured all-rounder.
Project management with dedicated Bliss attention
Our customers are pleased with the dedication of our staff, from the start of the project up to the delivery this week. “We know a lot about travelling, but we didn’t know about trucks, equipment and necessities. The total project has been an adventurous journey in itself for us, with compliments to the Team of Bliss for the guidance and good advice.” We valued the clear communications, to be involved and to learn along the way. We felt ensured by every decision we had to make. Looking back it has been a joy to be part of the project.
Ready for the true adventure
Since we still have kids at home for the next two years, we will use this time to gain experience by doing small trips in Europe. Norway will become the maiden voyage in the next few weeks. The ultimate goal is to enjoy the true freedom of travelling overseas for extended periods.
