The (Smart) Lift
You already know our innovative motorbike carrier, which allows travellers to take various vehicles such as an (e)bike, motorbike or ATV (quad) with them on their journey. One of our customers had a brilliant idea that led to a very special wish: He wanted to take his SMART on an adventure.
An in-house development on customer request!
Unfortunately, the motorbike carrier does not offer enough space for such a vehicle. Our engineers love to offer solutions and make dreams come true. The first drawings were made and the weight, position and handling were calculated. The entire construction of the lift is made of aluminium and is attached to the corner fittings of the unit. It was a challenge to design a complete lift for such a heavy car, while ensuring that it would not negatively affect the capacity of the Bliss Mobil itself. The dimensions are 2 x 2,4 x 2,4 metres, and it can carry a weight of 1000 kg. The Bliss Mobil’s tyres are attached to the rear of the unit.
Engineering to the max
Once the SMART is on the lift, it is secured with straps to provide additional stability. Operating the lift is simple – just turn a switch and the entire lift moves up or down. This is especially practical when you want to access the small car on the move. Another feature is the extra-strong winch and castors required to lift the weight of the lift, including the SMART. Once the lift reaches the top position, it is 2 metres above the ground.
Making dreams come true
Our team was able to make a dream come true. Now our customer has the freedom to choose with which vehicle he wants to visit a city or explore nature or the surroundings of his “campsite”.
