Bliss units on their way to China

Two 13 foot units have left our factory in Breda, Netherlands this week. They will travel to Beijing, China, where our dealer BRIX Machinery Co. Ltd awaits them to take care of the marriage between the trucks and the units.

Building process

Our unique building process with the truck-independent unit and the standardization concept allows us to build the units in Breda (NL) without the need of having the vehicle on site. The 13 foot units fit inside a sea-freight container and will be shipped together with their torsion-free subframes. We can rely on a streamlined process and look back on many successful deliveries. Felix and his team from Brix Machinery do not only finish the truck, but will also take care of the training and support of our new customers in China.

In Beijing two sturdy MAN 13.290 4×4 trucks are waiting for the marriage and from experience we know that the 13 foot fits perfectly on this particular MAN. This powerful Bliss Mobil combination is very popular in China and is sold as a standardized turnkey project.

Layout of the unit

The 13 foot units are equipped with a comfortable bed above the sitting area (High Bed) that can be lowered, raised, and levelled electronically and with a cosy U-shaped seating area that can easily be converted into a double-bed. In this layout, the toilet and bathroom are combined and thus creating more space for a larger kitchen and in the rear of the unit for a bunk bed (optionally). In total, this unit offers comfortable sleeping spaces for up to 6 persons.

The kitchen is well-equipped with 2 induction hobs, a multifunctional microwave and plenty of storage space. It offers everything you need for preparing a meal off the road.

Both units have been upgraded with extra accessories like a truck passage, seat belts in the couch area. Additional battery back has been added to increase not only the storage capacity of the electrical system, but also offer redundancy in case of unexpected failure. The cordless vacuum cleaner and the compact washing machine with a load of up to 3.5 kg make the life easer while overlanding.

On the outside on the back of the unit a motorbike carrier has been mounted, that can accommodate different vehicles and provides space for a spare wheel. With the 360° view IR-camera system, the owners can keep an eye on the direct environment of the Bliss Mobil.

Chinese Bliss community

With already more than 37 Bliss Mobil expeditions vehicles discovering this stunning country, the Chinese Bliss community keeps growing. Felix and his team from BRIX Machinery Co. Ltd show their competence and support this close community. They organize and host the annual customer event in China, which is a driving party.  It speaks for itself that the Chinese Bliss Community is close, and they know each other well. Their last trip took them to Mongolia.
