Aluminium Motorbike carrier
Bliss Mobil’s aluminium, lightweight motorbike carrier is constructed of high quality 6082 aluminium profiles, providing maximum durability and strength, as well as ensuring weight and corrosion are kept to a minimum.
The availability of a secondary vehicle is essential. In the event of a broken or damaged base vehicle, it is important to have a backup mode of transportation to get yourself to safety or to call for aid. An ATV, motorbike or (electric) bicycle can offer a solution when you are stuck.
In addition to it being important in times of distress, bringing a backup mode of transport is also convenient for travelling into city centres or for going to other areas which are normally hard to reach for a large expedition vehicle.
The aluminium carrier is developed in such a way that it can accommodate different vehicles, depending on the desired set-up. This includes several combinations of bicycles, e-bikes and motorcycles. The platform on which the two-wheelers are placed, can even be extended in order for it to accommodate an ATV.
Besides an additional transport vehicle, the aluminium motorbike carrier also provides space for mounting a spare wheel. The spare wheel can be lowered easily and safely using the supplied winch system. In addition to this, a second spare wheel can be mounted, depending on the dimensions of the wheels and the size of additional transportation. The second spare wheel bracket can be found under article code ZA904.
As a further option, it is also possible to mount a large storage box on the carrier, which will be lowered with the bike platform to provide easy access to stored items. When choosing the storage box accessory, it is not possible to add both a spare wheel and an additional transportation vehicle. The storage box is placed under article code ZA840 for the 11, 13, and 15 foot Bliss Mobil units, and code ZA839 for the 16, 18 and 20 foot units.
The aluminium motorbike carrier is mounted on the Bliss Mobil unit by means of the corner castings in the unit. This ensures that the carrier is placed directly against the unit itself, eliminating unnecessary overhang and weight on the back of the vehicle.
