A 13 foot unit – High Bed Type 4 mounted on a Ram 5500 AEV was delivered to our customer in Colorado, USA. Built for adventures in the harshest environments, this Bliss Mobil is pushing the boundaries of luxury and durability. With its sturdy aluminium container frame, high capacity Lithium-Ion batteries combined with 4 large solar panels, and a large freshwater tank, it offers everything a true expedition unit needs to have.

13 foot unit – Type 4

Known for its innovative and high-quality expedition units, Bliss Mobil has once again lived up to its reputation with this 13 foot unit – High Bed Type 4. Designed to provide maximum self-sufficiency and comfort even in the most remote locations, the unit is equipped with all the necessary amenities. Including a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable high bed (1400 × 2000 mm) located above the seating area and a spacious bathroom with the optional towel heater and a Bidet Set.Our customers plan to travel mainly off-road, so they opted for extra accessories such as the Arctic Package with extra heating and the Starlink Satellite Internet for a secure internet connection. The internal alarm system, combined with the 360° view IR-camera system, enhances the security of the vehicle and ensures that unwanted visitors are kept out. This is also the job of the magentic mosquito door net and the shutters at the windows. As this Bliss Mobile is based in the USA, it also has the country specific sockets in the unit as well as US specifications for charging and inverting 230V and a 12 to 24 volt converter. Our customers can fully enjoy the outdoors with the batwing awning and the outdoor kitchen, which is safely stored in one of the storage boxes on the subframe, enables them to fully enjoy the outdoors. And on the rear of the unit is our famous motorbike carrier, which houses the rear storage box , a motorbike and extra spare wheel.

Ram 5500 AEV: A formidable off-road base

It is no coincidence that the AEV Ram 5500 was chosen as the base for this Bliss Mobil unit. This vehicle stands as a true testament to reliability and is crafted for adventure enthusiasts – a no-nonsense foundation which is renowned for its exceptional durability and off-road capability. Modifications made by American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) have further optimised the Ram 5500 for the rugged environment: Enhanced suspension, a larger off-road tyre package, high-mark fender flares, an HD front bumper treated with AEV lighting and a COMEUP winch rated at 20,000 lb (ca. 9 tons).
