Delivery of a 20 foot on a MAN KAT 6X6

We are proud of our delivery last week: A 20 foot Bliss Mobil unit on a MAN KAT1 A1 SX2000, an original army truck that is well-known for its extraordinary appearance and off-road capabilities.

Former military vehicle MAN KAT1 6x6

Our customers have discovered this MAN KAT 6x6 in Northern Germany. The truck comes directly from the Bundeswehr and was used to transport a 48-metre antenna! At the time of purchase, the vehicle had only 20,000 km on the clock! This unique MAN KAT1 A1 SX2000 is equipped with modern systems and guarantees exceptional off-road capability with its 440 hp and coil springs.

Bliss Mobil 20 foot unit

The 20 foot unit – Standard with a Quad garage, not only offers a lot of space, but is equipped with accessories, like the washing machine and the iMac, that are optional in other models. Upon entering the unit a comfortable and large U-shaped seating area with buffalo leather upholstery welcomes you. The seating area can easily be converted into an extra double-bed, providing a good night‘s sleep for 2 people.

The spacious kitchen is well equipped with 4 cooking hobs and a large fridge (133 litres), a microwave-oven-grill combination and a freezer integrated in the couch. This all makes preparing meals on the go a breeze. It also offers plenty of storage space and has been completed with the kitchen set. Next to the kitchen is the separate toilet and shower, whose doors can be used as room dividers for more privacy while travelling. The bedroom with its large and comfortable double bed (longitude sleeping) is located at the rear and has practical shelves for books, smartphones or drinks. The optional Starlink antenna allows the use of high-speed internet in remote areas.

Accessories

The exterior of the Bliss Mobil has also been equipped with additional accessories. For extra safety and visibility of the grid a 360° view IR-camera system, external Motion Sensors, internal alarm system and additional exterior lighting has been added. The optional reverse Garmin camera is ideal for longer vehicles and provides a clear view when reversing. Subframe-mounted storage boxes holds the large outdoor kitchen and chair and table set, allowing customers to enjoy the outdoors.

They participated in the Rental Expedition in Africa to gain experience and learn about the extensive functionality of the Bliss Mobil unit. Above all, they very much enjoyed the overland travelling and well-organized tours.

Bliss Community

Their maiden voyage will be the North Cape expedition in March together with other Bliss customers. This real expedition under difficult conditions will prove whether both the Bliss unit and the MAN KAT vehicle really meet all the requirements. Our customer is looking forward to becoming part of the Bliss community and gaining experience while travelling with other peers. After that Norway, Iceland, Scotland, USA and Canada are on their bucket list.
