Expansion of our Rental fleet with another Bliss Mobil

This week, a 13 foot unit – High Bed Type 4 on a Mercedes-Benz Atego 1018 4x4 left our workshop and will join the Bliss Mobil Rental fleet. From experience, we know that this combination is perfect to get a taste of independent travelling and the high quality of Bliss during our Rental expedition.

Rental fleet

Our Rental fleet currently consists of 7 Bliss Mobil expedition vehicles, which are on their way to Morocco for the Morocco Rental Expedition at the end of October. This expedition will be followed by the first Chinese Customer Expedition held in Morocco. Overland travel is responsible for organising this special adventure for our Chinese dealer and the Chinese Bliss Owners. They will travel with the vehicles from the Bliss Mobil Rental fleet and explore this magnificent country as a group.

Proven combination

The Mercedes-Benz Atego 1018 4×4 is a powerful and reliable vehicle. This particular truck has previously served in the German Army and is equipped with air conditioning, cruise control and comfortable seats. Because of its Euro 4 norm, this truck can be used worldwide.
Our 13 foot unit with the High Bed Type 4 Layout has a combined toilet and bathroom, enabling more cabinet space in the kitchen. Like all High Bed-units, the comfortable bed is situated above the cosy seating area and can be lowered, raised and levelled electrically. The U-shaped couch can easily be converted into an extra double-bed and thus offers comfortable sleeping space for up to 4 people.
This new member of the rental fleet is Bliss Mobil number 8 and allows additional people (2 or 3) to join our organised self-drive rental expeditions.

Extra accessories

This special combination has successfully passed the TÜV Wohnmobil alterations (for unit and truck) and is registered as a “Wohnmobil”. We also wanted our customers to really experience the Freedom of Independence and decided to add a few more accessories to make life even more comfortable off the beaten track. The already complete kitchen has been upgraded with the kitchen set. On the outside you can find extra storage boxes mounted on the subframe and one accommodates a chair- and table set. The additional exterior lighting, the marking lights on the subframe and the 360° view IR-camera system guarantee not only better visibility but also more safety.
