For this reason our expedition fleet is based on the Mercedes-Benz Atego 4×4, a robust medium-duty off-road truck trusted by military units, fire brigades and expedition teams around the world.

These trucks combine the driving comfort of a Mercedes with the strength and durability of a serious off-road vehicle. With their compact size, strong ladder chassis and powerful turbo-diesel engine, they are designed to travel confidently on remote tracks, mountain roads and challenging terrain.

The Atego expedition trucks are equipped with a 177 hp Euro-4 diesel engine, a 6-speed manual gearbox, and a selectable 4×4 drivetrain with differential locks. Together with the large 365/80 R20 off-road tires, high ground clearance and heavy-duty suspension, this ensures excellent traction and stability in sand, mud, snow and rough terra

Despite their rugged capabilities, the trucks offer comfortable features such as air conditioning, cruise control, air-suspended seats and power windows, making them pleasant to drive even on long overland journeys.for your comfort aircon and heating , radio , equipped with Garmin.

With a maximum vehicle weight of approximately 7.5 tons, these expedition trucks provide a stable and vibration-free platform for the Bliss Mobil living unit while remaining compact enough to maneuver in remote areas. A 7.5-ton configuration allows operation with a C1 driver’s license in Europe and aligns with common international licensing limits.

Thanks to the worldwide Mercedes-Benz service network and the proven reliability of the Atego platform, these vehicles are perfectly suited for long-distance expedition travel anywhere in the world.
To further improve ease of use in remote conditions, the expedition vehicles are equipped with a selection of practical additions. A 300-liter diesel tank increases driving range, allowing for extended travel between fuel stops.
Additional equipment such as a spare wheel carrier, jack, shovel and tire inflation hose ensures that essential tools are always available when operating off-road, while a Bluetooth-enabled audio system adds comfort during longer journeys.
