13 foot unit – details

With a dry weight of 1.800kg and a length of 4100mm, this size unit is suitable for any 4×4 truck with a wheelbase of 3200 to 3800mm. Since weight is key for any expedition vehicle, but especially for the more compact ones, all our future 13 foot units will have an aluminium frame and 60mm composite walls with a PET core.

The aluminium frame contributes to a lower weight, enabling this unit to be placed on lightweight 4×4 trucks which are meant to stay below the 7.5tons barrier.

The 13 foot unit is the ideal expedition vehicle for the adventurous couple who is eager to travel. The “Standard” layout features a fresh water capacity of close to 300 litres where as the “High Bed” models have a fresh water capacity of 460 litres. The fresh water tank is located underneath the seating area, which is smaller in the “Standard” 13 foot model. If required, an additional fresh water tank can be placed in the garage area.

You can leave civilisation behind for a very long period of of time without any compromise thanks to 460 litres of fresh water and an incredibly well thought-out energy system. This system consists of four solar panels with a combined capacity of 0.96kW. The power is stored in one 24V Lithium-Ion battery pack with a capacity of >10 kWh or 400Ah of energy storage. Every 13 foot Bliss Mobil with a “High Bed” interior can be equipped with an additional battery bank.

To make life off-the-grid more comfortable, every 13 foot Bliss Mobil is fitted with a 40 litre freezer, air conditioning, multiple ways of heating the unit and numerous additional comfort and travel features.

Our trademark way of building with strong frames and corner castings has many advantages. One of these advantages is that it provides a way to mount heavy equipment on your Bliss Mobil. Our motorbike carrier has been completely redesigned and made out of high quality 6082 anodized aluminium, enabling it to carry a weight of up to 450 kg. This optional piece of equipment can carry a spare wheel and a motorcycle, or two to four (electric) bicycles and a spare wheel. Since you want to be able to operate the carrier in even the harshest conditions, we have simplified the use of the winch which makes it even more convenient to operate.
