20 foot unit – details

The 20 foot unit has the official dimensions of a DIN shipping container and can be placed one-on-one on any standard 20 Foot container truck. With a dry weight of 4.200kg and a length of 6.100mm, the unit will fit 6×6 trucks as well as 4×4 trucks with an extended frame. All 20 foot units are equipped with steel frames and 60mm composite walls with a PET core.

The 20 foot Bliss Mobil is the ideal companion for the globetrotter that travels with a family of four, or multiple unrelated people. The different 20 foot layouts offer sleeping spaces for up to six people, by converting the couch into a bed or in the “Family” layout where there are four fixed beds. In addition, a high bed option above the couch will result in eight places to sleep.

You can leave civilisation behind for a very large amount of time without any compromise thanks to 515 liters of fresh water and an incredibly well thought-out energy system. This system consists of six solar panels with a combined capacity of 1.9kW. The power is stored in two parallel connected 24V Lithium-Ion battery packs with a joint output capacity of >20kWh or 800Ah of energy storage.

To make life off-the-grid more comfortable, every 20 foot Bliss Mobil is outfitted with a 65 liter freezer, air conditioning, multiple ways of heating the unit and numerous additional comfort and travel features. The 20 foot Bliss Mobil is the most complete unit one could currently get and it has a lot of accessories as standard that are sold separately for the more compact units.

A 20 foot Bliss Mobil with the “Standard” layout comes with an ATV garage. The ATV can be placed on a platform that is electronically hoisted and operated. With some modifications, it is also possible to place two relatively low motorcycles on the ATV platform. The garage is closed by two strong, container style doors that can easily hold two spare wheels. These wheels can be raised and lowered by a winch as well.
