Shipment of two 11 foot High Bed units to Brix Machinery China

We are proud to announce the shipment of two 11 foot High Bed units to our long-standing partner and official Bliss Mobil dealer, Brix Machinery in Beijing China.

Both expedition units have been carefully prepared for transport and shipped in a 40HC container, ready to be mounted onto the Mercedes-Benz Unimog U4023 chassis upon arrival in China.

Compact dimensions, maximum capability

The combination of the compact 11 foot unit and the legendary Unimog U4023 creates an expedition vehicle with exceptional off-road capability and minimal rear overhang. This expedition vehicle is perfectly suited for challenging terrain and long-distance overland travel. Thanks to the torsion-free subframe system, the units remain protected against chassis twisting forces while maintaining full articulation during extreme off-road driving conditions.

THE UNIMOG U4023 and Bliss Mobil Partnerschip with Unimog

With permanent all-wheel drive, portal axles, differential locks, and outstanding ground clearance, the U4023 is engineered to perform in the most remote environments. Bliss Mobil has many years of experience designing and building on the Unimog platform, resulting in a highly refined and proven combination. Our extensive knowledge of the chassis allows us to optimize weight distribution, comfort, and off-road performance without compromise. The strong relationship between Bliss Mobil and Mercedes-Benz has also led to an official partnership with Mercedes-Benz Unimog. This cooperation reflects the recognition for Bliss Mobil’s engineering expertise and commitment to quality. Together, the Unimog U4023 and Bliss Mobil create one of the world’s most capable expedition vehicles.

Two identical fully equipped expedition units

Both 11 foot High Bed units are built with exactly the same configuration and specification. The High Bed layout offers additional storage space underneath the fixed elevated bed, while maintaining a spacious and comfortable interior living area.

Inside, the units are equipped with bamboo interior components, luxury upholstery, a spacious seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, induction cooking, and combi oven. The bathroom includes a shower and toilet, providing full comfort for long-term travel.

The electrical system is designed for complete independence and extended off-grid travel. Each unit is equipped with an 800 Ah lithium battery system with more than 20 kWh of energy storage, combined with a 0.88 kW solar installation and a 465 liter fresh water capacity. This setup allows the vehicles to operate completely self-sufficient for long periods in remote areas around the world.

In addition, both expedition units are fitted with several premium options including a washer dryer combination, towel heater in the bathroom, additional exterior lighting and a Bliss Mobil motorbike carrier. Together, these features provide additional comfort, convenience, and functionality during both daily use and demanding off-road travel conditions.
